Phones, Food and Drink

Phones – Please turn your phone off or set it to vibrate. Please talk very quietly or take conversatins outside – your voice is louder than you think!

Food and Drink: You may bring drinks with covers into the library. Clean snacks are allowed but sit-down dinners are not. Smelly or messy food such as hamburgers, pizza, cheese doodles, etc.  should be eaten in the café area on the 2nd floor or the cafeteria located in the basement of the Tower building.

Newburgh Library Collaborative

The Newburgh Library Collaborative provides students with access to the resources from the following participating libraries:

·         Newburgh Campus Library

·         Middletown Campus Library

·         Newburgh Free Library

·         Mount Saint Mary College Library

Resources include research support, in-person loan of library materials, reference services and on-site use of collections. SUNY Orange students may, with proper ID, use any of these participating libraries.

Using Library Computers

·        There are 62 computer stations in the library for student use as well as laptops available for use in the library.

·        Students must log-in with their A number and password and log out when they are done.

·        The priority use of the computers is for schoolwork. They may be used for other purposes if students are not waiting for computers.

·        Users must comply with the computer use policy which is available at the circulation desk.

·        Each student is credited with $40.00 worth of printing at the beginning of every semester. Print costs are 10¢ for a single sided page and 14¢ for a double sided page.
